Recognising high potential

Our outdoor learning programs are designed for all students, regardless of ability, providing inclusive and enriching experiences for every learner. When students step outside their usual school environment, class teachers have the valuable opportunity to observe them in a completely different context. This shift in setting often reveals new strengths, interests, and behaviours, allowing teachers to identify areas of previously unrecognised high potential.

The accompanying graphic offers a simple, practical tool for visiting teachers to record their observations throughout the program. It provides space to note the names of students who may be struggling, those who are surprising you with unexpected strengths or growth, and those who are thriving in the outdoor learning environment.
