Facilities
Our centre has a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces to support learning in nature. We offer safe and comfortable areas for hands-on, engaging and suitably challenging activities.
Our local environment
Our centre is based in Scheyville National Park. The national park comprises 952 hectares of remnant Cumberland Plain Woodland including a 17 hectare freshwater lagoon.
Scheyville National Park provides a habitat for a diverse range of native plants and animals. The park also has a rich Aboriginal and European History that can be observed in and around the Longneck Lagoon EEC site.
Our learning spaces
We have both indoor and outdoor spaces that give students a unique learning experience, and allows them to connect with the natural world around them.
At our centre, we offer:
- outdoor areas for hands-on activities
- an indoor classroom
- access to walking trails, bushland, Longneck Lagoon and Dragonfly Creek.
